How to hide WhatsApp images from gallery in Android
Nowadays there are some ways to hide your WhatsApp images from the gallery.
METHOD 1
Now the WhatsApp beta has an inbuilt feature to hide your photos from the gallery. The feature is available on the latest beta version 2.18.159. To hide follow the instruction;
Open Whatsapp and click on the 3 dot option placed in the right top corner. Then select settings and click on the chat option. After that turn of the option “show media in the gallery”. Then check on your gallery, the WhatsApp images will be hidden.
You can also enable the option group wise. If you want to hide the images from the gallery of a specific group. You just need to select the group profile and click on the menu media visibility and turn on it.
METHOD 2
You can follow these steps to hide your WhatsApp images in the gallery.
First, go to the file manager of your device. If your device doesn’t have a file manager you can download it from the link;
After that go to the WhatsApp folder. From the WhatsApp, folder select the media folder and then go to the WhatsApp images folder. Then go to the options in the file manager and click on add new option. After that click on the file option and name the file as .nomedia. Now you can check your gallery. To view the media again you can go to the WhatsApp images and delete the .nomedia file. If you erase your cached data, you will not able to see those images again.
METHOD 3
You can easily download and install image hider applications such as whats image hider, hide image and videos of WhatsApp, hide WhatsApp media etc from google play store. You can also download those apps through the link;
